COVID-19 social distancing advice and City of Vincent facilities

Published on Friday, 20 March 2020 at 4:20:00 PM

This afternoon’s announcement by the Prime Minister that there needs to be a cap of one person per four square metres indoors has been reviewed by the City of Vincent.

Beatty Park Leisure Centre and the City of Vincent Library have adjusted their operations in line with the new social distancing requirements and will remain open for now. Ongoing monitoring of compliance with this advice is being carried out by City of Vincent staff onsite.

We are awaiting further detailed advice from the State Health Department and we will act immediately if further measures are needed.

We greatly appreciate our community and customers for supporting us as we make these changes to our much-loved community hubs, and for the understanding and warmth shown to our team. We will continue to provide these services to our community for as long as it is safe to do so.
