Vincent community facilities re-opening

It’s time to start planning your birthday parties, weddings and dance lessons because the City of Vincent’s community facilities have re-opened.

All of our community facilities re-opened today after undergoing a deep clean during the lockdown period

Community members can now book in their special events, activities, crafts and lessons.

“We are excited to welcome back all of our regulars and any new users who want to book in at our wonderful community facilities,” said Mayor Emma Cole.

“The health and wellbeing of our community is so important to us and we are implementing COVID-19 Safety Plans for all facilities.

“We’ve upped our cleaning regime and want to remind everyone to keep following physical distancing guidelines and stay at home if you’re feeling unwell.”

Cleaning stations have been installed near the entrances of all facilities. These will provide users with sanitiser gel and products to wipe down tables and chairs.

We’ve organised extra cleaning and an additional midday check and clean of all facilities. Signs have also been installed to remind community members of physical distancing requirements.

Regular users will receive a copy of the guidelines and protocols by email tomorrow.

The City will continue to monitor State and Federal Government COVID-19 restrictions and regulations and will provide updates when necessary.
