Due to uncertainty regarding COVID-19 restrictions next week, we have made the difficult decision to postpone some of our face to face NAIDOC Week events.
If an event you’ve booked has been rescheduled we will change your ticket to the new date. If you can’t make it, please cancel your ticket and we can pass it on to someone else.
If your event has been cancelled, have a look out on the City of Vincent facebook page during NAIDOC Week, we’ll be posting some videos online during the week.
A Message from Mayor Emma Cole
“NAIDOC Week is one of the most important events in Vincent’s calendar and we have loved seeing our celebrations expand and diversify, including cultural experiences, art, language, food, knowledge of the six seasons and sport.
Whilst we wish the timing wasn’t so, we do need to postpone some of our scheduled NAIDOC Week events. But the positive is that we will be celebrating and sharing knowledge of Noongar culture throughout the year, making this part of our everyday landscape in Vincent.
There are still a range of awesome events planned, so please come along to those you can during NAIDOC Week, and we’ll continue to invite you to events, workshops and classes throughout the year."
