Double Vax Requirements

Published on Friday, 28 January 2022 at 11:50:36 AM

The Premier Mark McGowan has expanded proof of vaccination requirements that are set to come into to place from Monday 31 January.

“With borders set to reopen in WA, we know this year will bring a renewed focus on public health and community wellbeing,” said Mayor Cole.

“Proof of vaccination, checking in and mask wearing will be part of our daily lives for the foreseeable future. Vaccinations for our under twelves and third booster shots should be top of the list to protect yourself, our kids and community from COVID-19. Thank you to everyone for making this a priority.”

This means everyone over 16 will need to show proof of double dose vaccination to enter Beatty Park Leisure Centre as these rules apply to fitness centres.

You’ll also need it to enter cafes, restaurants, bottle shops and entertainment venues -among others.

Please be kind to City staff and other front-line workers who will be asking you to provide proof of vaccination.

Acceptable proof includes:

  • the ServiceWA app set up on your mobile device
  • COVID-19 digital certificate (or hardcopy) and photo ID
  • immunisation history statement and photo ID
  • international COVID-19 vaccination certificate and photo ID, or
  • approved exemption from vaccination and photo ID.
