Masks on for a little longer

We are coming out of lockdown with interim restrictions in place from 12.01am Saturday until 12.01am Tuesday, but make sure you keep your masks on.
  • Beatty Park, Vincent Library and Vincent Community Centre will be open from Saturday but with a 20 person limit (and 4m2 rule)
  • Our playgrounds and skatepark will reopen
  • Community sports can resume outdoors
  • Community facility bookings can resume if they comply with the 20 person limit (and 4m2 rule)
  • Some of our events including the start of our NAIDOC Week celebrations have been postponed
City services will continue to operate including our kerbside bin collections and ranger services.
City staff will be working from home where possible during these interim restrictions so please contact us by phone, email or messenger in the first instance.
“This is good news. We are on our way out and getting back to business, but with masks on and restrictions still in place,” said Mayor Emma Cole.
“School’s out, so we’re really happy to reopen playgrounds and the skate park and see sports resume. With gathering numbers still low, please do continue to support local and get behind our Vincent businesses.
Take care, stay masked up and see you back out there.”
